LOAN PROGRAMS

Headwaters RC&D Area, Inc. Revolving Loan Fund Programs are designed to stimulate economic development activity by assisting the private sector to create/retain jobs in Southwest Montana and fill a funding gap when alternative sources of public and private financing are not available and/or are inadequate.

Headwaters RC&D Area, Inc. main lending function is to provide an alternative choice for entrepreneurs and new or existing business owners who do not qualify or have access to traditional commercial bank funds.  We also partner with banks to meet financing needs.

Headwaters RC&D Area, Inc. staff can provide assistance with business plan development and furnish copies of application, guidelines, and other materials designed to aid in application preparation.

The following are loan programs offered by Headwaters RC&D Area, Inc. LOAN APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Business Plan:

  • Business Description, Marketing Plan and Operations Plan
  • Sources and Uses of Funds
  • Financial Plan to Include:  3 Years Cash Flow Projections, 3 Years Income Statement Projections and Proforma Balance Sheet to include subject funding request and uses of funds.

Financial Information Required for Existing Businesses:

  • CPA Prepared Financial Statement for most recent 3 years of operation
  • Current Financial Statement within 60 days of loan application
  • Existing Debt Schedule
  • Current Aging of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Most recent 3 years Business Federal Income Tax Returns

For All Individuals with 20% or Greater Ownership in the Company:

  • Resume
  • Personal Financial Statement(s)
  • Most recent 3 years Federal Income Tax Returns
  • Personal Credit Check Release

Any other documentation that may be required by a specific loan program.
