50% Cost-share Grants and Loans.

Grants up to $50,000 and Loans up to $100,000

 

General Criteria for Funding:

• Primarily adds value to Montana's agriculture products 

• Has the prospects for commercial success given current personnel, experience and resources of the applicant

• Has the prospects to create and/or retain jobs in Montana

• Primarily processes and adds value to Montana's agriculture products currently produced or potentially produced in the state

• Has the management structure to allow the Agriculture Development Council to reasonably conclude that the applicant will comply with ongoing reporting and monitoring activities

Eligible Costs under the GTA program include but not limited to: 

• Equipment

• Consultant Services (professional, technical, or operational)

• Travel

• Advertising & Promotion

• Supplies and Materials 

• Communication (telephone, postage, printing, etc)

• Data Processing
   

Timeline:

Pre-Application opens October 5, 2026 

Submission deadline November 9th @ 5pm

Pre-Application review meeting will be in mid-December
