LIZZIE BLOCK ALLEY

The Lizzie Block Alley is a historic alley in the center of Uptown Butte that was in desperate need of revitalization. New improvements are underway to continue the beautification and development of this space and help promote economic development.

OPPORTUNITY ZONE

Opportunity Zones are designed to encourage long-term private investments in low-income communities. Opportunity Zones provide a federal tax incentive for taxpayers who reinvest unrealized capital gains into “Opportunity Funds,” which are specialized vehicles dedicated to investing in low-income areas called “Opportunity Zones.”
