JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director of Loan Services manages the Butte Local Development Corporation (BLDC) and Headwaters RC&D (HRCD)’s loan programs and portfolio. The Director of Loan Services works with partner lenders and small business owners to originate loan projects and is responsible for projects from underwriting through funding.
The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, possess strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to balance multiple priorities. The Director of Loan Services works on projects from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. The Director of Loan Services supervises a Loan Portfolio Assistant.
Loan assistant/junior lender
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Loan Assistant will support the Director of Loan Services to provide customer service to loan applicants and perform administrative duties in various areas of lending. The Loan Assistant will ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely administration of loan applications and required documentation according to loan administration guidelines and checklists.
Applicant should be attentive to process and procedure, and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal candidate must be detail and task oriented, self-directed, and organized. Lending, finance, government grant management, and/or accounting experience preferred.
